We missed you dad Leonhardt!

We thought that you all might enjoy looking some of the pictures that we have taken recently.

We have enjoyed this first month of the year very much. It has been wonderful.

Soni tried ice skating for the first time and she liked being held by Mike and his friend Alex, just for the fun of it, not because she couldn't stand on her feet without falling:)...so Mike caught her trick and let her all by herself (only 1 feet away from her) in the ice skating ring, so she could try to skate on her own, and as you can see she was very happy about it :)

It's almost our first anniversary, isn't that crazy??? It has been a great year of loving, caring, enjoying, living, experiencing, trying, laughing...and the list goes on...but we don't want to write about it, not yet, but we want to tell you how we ended up in Michigan in the middle of the winter, celebrating our anniversary with family...like we did with our honey moon...oopses, you didn't know that, huh ? Anyway, this tells you how much we love and appreciate all of you.

Mike and Soni had to make a decision: Jamaica, Florida Keys or Michigan???

As Mike was trying to write down during sacrament meeting the positives and negatives of this places, Soni would always answer: "OK, let's go there then". She couldn't keep up with Mike's changing ideas every...lets say... one hour:)
So, finally one day, after work, in the car (Soni driving, Mike thinking), Mike said: "You know what, I've been thinking, let's just go spend time with family" (this sounds like Mike, I love him because of this) and you already know Soni's answer...

So at that moment we were hoping that Suz would pick up the phone, so we didn't have to go through making a decision again.

What made Michigan such a temptation for us (beside loving Suzy, Daymon and the kids dearly) was the presence of our dear mom Leonhardt. We were so excited to see her again and loved the week we had with the Leonhardt's...Thanks so much, we truly enjoyed our visit there and loved being with all of you. We are very happy that we made the right choice as mom Leonhardt would say:)

But before getting to Michigan, we thought to stop and see Niagara Falls: beautiful, magnificent, gorgeous...and Icy:)))

At Genji's, a Japanese restaurant, very entertaining, delicious food...especially the green tea ice cream...that Daymon intentionally ordered just for us:)...so generous of you Daymon!!!
